What we are looking for:

We welcome abstracts aligned with the conference themes listed below, describing original work in the field of Clinical spectroscopy. The abstract should also outline the methodology, results, conclusions, innovation, and potential impact of the work.

Attendees who present their work in SPEC 2024 (oral or poster) will be invited to contribute to a themed collection in Analyst , based on the SPEC2024 conference.

clinical studies

Clinical and Translational studies

Clinical and pre-clinical research, diagnostics, public health, commercialisation, healthcare regulatory considerations, surgical guidance,
in-vivo and ex-vivo studies (histology, cytology, body fluids, etc).

data-science

ΑΙ, Data science and computational methods

Machine learning methods, novel and advanced multi-variate analysis, data-fusion studies, pre-processing and sharing protocols, calibration, system/model transferability and multi-site studies.

health-monitoring

Therapy monitoring

Therapeutic drug monitoring, treatment monitoring, cell therapies, targeted analysis for treatment of disease.

measurement-protocols

Theranostic sensors Measurement Protocols

Biosensors, multifunctional nanoprobes (i.e. SERS), point-of-care diagnostics, experimental protocols and sample preparation.

emerging-tech

Emerging technologies - Μulti-modal systems

Hybrid microscopic/spectroscopic systems, novel spectroscopic approaches, multimodal spectroscopic techniques, novel techniques to improve spatial resolution/penetration depth.

Abstracts Guidelines:

The following guidelines are common for Oral and Poster presentations.
Abstracts submission deadline March 20th 2024

All authors are kindly requested to follow below guidelines for abstracts submission:

  • Abstracts should be submitted online here or via e-mail at k.ge@zita-congress.gr to the attention of Mr. Gerasimos Kouloumpis.
  • The Presenting Author must submit the abstract and is required to be the corresponding author for that abstract.
  • All abstracts must be received by the submission deadline to be included in the review.
  • Accepted abstract presenters must register by the early registration deadline to ensure their abstract is included in the final programme.
  • The abstract must be written in English.
  • The abstract must be submitted in word format .doc or .docx, you can download the abstract template here
  • It is absolutely mandatory to indicate for which scientific program session the abstract is submitted

Submission Guidelines:

It is ESSENTIAL that you read the guidelines below before you submit. Abstracts which do not adhere to the guidelines will not be reviewed.

Review and notification of acceptance:

  • All abstracts will go through a blind peer-review carried out by reviewers selected by the SPEC 2024 Programme Committee.
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the submitter on March 29th 2024
